Lawrence Medical Center Announces Kyle Buchanan as New CEO

Moulton, AL — Hillman Locklayer, Board Chairman of Lawrence Medical Center, is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Kyle Buchanan, MHSA, MBA as the Chief Executive Officer of this facility, effective December 1, 2012.

“We are pleased to be able to get an individual of Mr. Buchanan’s caliber. The Board is confident that Mr. Buchanan will be able to successfully lead Lawrence Medical Center into the future and meet challenges that are ahead in healthcare.”

Mr. Buchanan comes to Lawrence Medical Center from his position as Vice President of Operations at Helen Keller Hospital; having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama, a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Mr. Buchanan will replace current Interim CEO, Dr. Bill Anderson, who has been with LMC since August. Dr. Anderson will remain with LMC until Mr. Buchanan takes over in December.
