Each center is staffed with caring, efficient, and knowledgeable employees who listen to the patients' needs and work with them to ensure they receive the best care possible. At each of our primary care centers, patients are seen by experienced medical professionals who treat them with professionalism, compassion, and understanding. The services include primary healthcare, health promotion, health education, disease prevention, and case management. At the LMC primary care centers, you're not just a patient, you're a person. You'll experience a small-town atmosphere with big-city knowledge.
LMC, its physicians, and its primary care centers are dedicated to providing continuity of care to their patients. Doctors receive continuing education, as do the nurses and nurse practitioners. Dr. Wilson, Dr. G. Cheng, Dr. S. Cheng, and Dr. Nichols see patients at LMC, when patients require hospitalization, and provide follow-up visits with ER patients that do not require hospitalization. Additionally, the physicians are part of the LMC Disaster Plan and willingly provide assistance to the hospital and community in the event of a disaster. The primary care centers and Lawrence Medical Center work together to provide the highest quality of care for their patients.
All centers offer sports physicals, DOT physicals, well checks, and sick visits. Each facility has an EKG on the premise, and keep defibrillators for emergencies. Pregnancy, urine, and strep tests can be performed at all four as well. All primary care centers are equipped with new Electronic Health Record (EHR) and e-prescribe systems that allow them to digitally keep patient records. EHR allows for seamless transfer of patient information to hospitals, pharmacies and other specialists.
Billing for all centers is centrally located at the hospital.
