Lawrence Medical Center sponsored 37 children for Christmas in Lawrence County this year. The employees hold various fund raisers during the year for their program “Operation Santa.”

Lawrence Medical Center will be hosting the “Lights of Love” Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in the front courtyard of the hospital. A “Light of Love” is a special way to honor or remember a loved one during the Christmas season.

Dr. Gillespie and Dr. Beach spent a week in Honduras on a mission trip recently. While there, they represented Lawrence County in a clinic serving a greatly under-served population.

Lawrence Medical Center will be hosting its 2nd Annual 5K and Mile Run on October 31, 2015. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and the Mile Run will begin at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race will benefit upgrades to the Emergency Care Center at Lawrence Medical.
