Emergency Department to close on May 23; Outpatient services remain open

Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton will shut down its Emergency Department at 7 p.m. on May 23, 2025, as Huntsville Hospital Health System assumes responsibility to provide outpatient services in Lawrence County.

According to the announcement from both organizations, outpatient imaging, EKG, lab, respiratory, and physical therapy services will continue to be provided at the facility. Lawrence’s Primary Care Clinics and Urgent Care Center also remain open for patient care.

David has been at LMC for 3 years and was recognized for his cheerful attitude and helpfulness to all his co-workers. He and his wife, Tonya, have 2 children and 7 grandchildren. Tiffany Isbell has been selected as LMC Employee of the Quarter. Employed as an MLT in our Lab Department for the past 5 years, Tiffany lives in Cullman with her husband, Frankie. When not working, they enjoy spending time camping, fishing and 4 wheeling. We are very proud to have her on our Team!
